Leadership PipelineManage Self: ProfessionalJob PurposeTo play a crucial role in facilitating and supporting various aspects of the trade and supply chain finance product life cycle in line with cluster goals. To assist in the identification, development and delivery of products based on business and client needs in line with digital standards. To conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends and cost analysis and ensuring profitable implementation of products though project and operational management to achieve Nedbank's deep green aspirations of being a great place to bank.Job ResponsibilitiesAssist in developing product strategies and roadmapsHelp manage the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.Deliver project results to parameters (cost, time, quality)Conduct competitor market and industry research to beat the competition.Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for product scoping and final product developmentAssist in delivery of services to exceed client expectations - client indicators improved year on year for functionMonitor and managed key client expectations (internal and external); build long-term relationships.Trusted advisor and respected by manager, direct reports, peers, and other managers - able to influence above and below.To prepare compelling and informative presentations and pitchbooks. Responsibilities include gathering and analysing data, creating visually appealing presentations, ensuring accuracy and clarity of information, and tailoring content to meet the specific needs and goals of the audienceStay up to date with international trade regulations, sanctions, and embargoes, and ensure compliance with them.Provide expert advice to clients on trade & supply chain finance products to optimize clients working capital and minimize risks associated with local and international tradeOptimise/improve organisation, systems and processes in ways that delivered productivity gains and service excellence.Ensure function is compliant with all governance and regulatory requirements - regular improvements to policies, processes and practices implemented.Minimise risk through the embedding of world class risk practices.Actively build a culture of improvement to ensure optimisation of the function as business demands changed.Essential Qualifications - NQF Level

  • Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
Preferred QualificationPost graduate qualification in a business field such as commerce, banking, accounting, sales and marketingEssential Certifications
  • CA(SA), CFA
Minimum Experience Level3-5 years' experience in a Trade and Supply Chain finance role .Technical / Professional Knowledge
