Preparing casted metal for breaking by ensuring it is cold and clean
Cleaning of metal by picking slag from the conveyor belt in order to ensure that product quality is met.
Ensuring the metal is timeously weighed in
Ensuring that work is carried out in a safe manner by adhering to all relevant policies and procedures
Ensuring that good housekeeping is conducted on the breaking floor
About you:
Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4 qualification
Knowledge of the HSECQ systems
Previous experience in a Plant or Ferrochrome production environment
Good interpersonal, communication and written English skills
