Role Summary:

Perform a senior role on audit assignments on a fixed term contract basis. Assist in managing a portfolio of smaller clients, maintain sound client relationships and assist in managing the audit team.

Qualifications / Certifications required:

Qualified CA(SA)

Experience required:

At least 2-4 years post articles experience

Responsibilities of role:

Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Senior Managers and above;

Be involved in the financial management of clients;

Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients;

Contribute to the development of your own and teams technical acumen;

Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges;

Assist in the management and delivering of large projects;

Train, coach, and supervise staff;

Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues;

Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand;

Manage portfolio of clients in respect to attest work;

Manage special projects;

Risk Management;

Contribute to office management team;

Monitor Costs;

Business Development and client relationship building;

Manage work in progress and debtors and

Compliance with PwC audit methodology and report writing.

Skill sets required:

Specialist industry knowledge, IFRS experience;

PwC audit methodology;

Display sound leadership skills;

Computer literate with all PwC software;

Ability to market our services and to establish contacts in the market place;

Self - motivated;

Attention to detail;

Excellent communication skills;

Sound interpersonal and management skills;

Ability to multitask and

Analytical and solution driven.
