The successful candidate will play a critical role in assessing and improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the firm's risk management, control, and governance processes.Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Perform internal audits and assurance reviews across various departments and functions.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements.
• Provide expert advice on risk management, compliance, and internal audit matters.
• Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, recommendations, and action plans.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement risk management policies and procedures.
• Stay updated with industry regulations, best practices, and emerging risks.
• Assist in the development and implementation of risk management training programs.
• Support external audit processes and liaise with external auditors as required.
• Conduct follow-up audits to ensure that recommendations are implemented effectively.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CA (SA), CIA, CISA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in audit, risk management, or assurance, preferably within a professional services firm or capital markets environment.
• Strong understanding of risk management, internal controls, and governance principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
