Our client in Dubai is seeking a Auto Electrician who is prepared to relocate and become part of their dynamic team.Applicants from Northern Cape, Mpumalanga, Kwa-Zulu Natal (Durban) and Limpopo are encouraged to apply.Requirements:

• Diploma or Certificate level qualification.
• Must be trade tested.
• 2-5 years relevant working experience.
• Relevant experience in repair and maintenance, particularly with electrical systems, is essential.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuitry, and diagnostic techniques.
• Must have a valid passport.

Responsibilities:

• Install and configure electrical systems in construction machinery and equipment, including generators, lighting, and control systems.
• Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on electrical systems of construction vehicles and equipment, ensuring they are safe and operational.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot electrical issues in construction machinery, such as excavators, cranes, and trucks.
• Install and repair wiring harnesses and connections, ensuring that all electrical components function correctly.
• Adhere to safety regulations and protocols while working on site, ensuring that all electrical work meets industry standards.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance performed on equipment, as well as any electrical issues encountered.
• Work closely with other tradespeople, such as mechanics and engineers, to ensure that electrical systems integrate seamlessly with other machinery and construction processes.
• Communicate with project managers and site supervisors to report on the status of electrical systems and any required repairs or upgrades.
• Provide guidance and training to other staff on the proper use and maintenance of electrical equipment and safety practices.
• Respond promptly to electrical failures or emergencies on site, troubleshooting and resolving issues to minimise downtime.
