Job Title: Auto Electrician - Mining IndustryLocation: Limpopo, South AfricaRPO Recruitment's client is currently seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join their mining operations in Limpopo. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems on heavy equipment used in mining operations.Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems on heavy equipment such as excavators, trucks, loaders, and drills.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on machines, including wiring, batteries, starters, alternators, and other electrical components.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
- Work closely with other maintenance staff to coordinate repairs and maintain a safe working environment.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed on equipment.
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
- Relevant Trade Test Certificate with minimum N3
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as an Auto Electrician in the mining industry.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment electrical systems, including Caterpillar, Komatsu, and Liebherr machines.
- Experience with maintenance software and diagnostic tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
