Job Summary Job & Company description:This company is a leader in the transport refrigeration industry, specializing in the service, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration units for the transport sector. With a strong focus on innovation and quality, they provide reliable and efficient solutions to ensure the safe transportation of temperature-sensitive goods across South Africa and beyond.As an Auto Electrician, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing transport refrigeration units, including Carrier, Thermoking, and Transfrig systems. You will perform diagnostics, electrical repairs, and maintenance on refrigeration equipment. Experience with Freon gas, system charging, leak detection, and pressure testing is essential. Additionally, you'll assist with breakdowns, troubleshoot electrical issues, and ensure fleet maintenance standards are met.Job experience and Skills Required:

• Qualification: Trade Test as an Auto Electrician or equivalent certification in automotive electrical systems.
• Experience: At least 3 years in the transport refrigeration industry, with hands-on experience in servicing and repairing refrigeration units (Carrier, Thermoking, Transfrig).
• Freon Gas: Knowledge of handling and servicing Freon systems, including leak detection, charging, and pressure testing.
• Electrical Skills: Proficient in diagnosing and repairing electrical issues in refrigeration systems and related components.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Strong experience in fleet preventative maintenance and breakdown assistance for refrigeration systems and vehicles.
