Job Description
A well-established company is seeking a skilled Auto Electrician with mining experience to join their team in Mokopane. This critical role involves supporting the Operations team by maintaining and repairing electrical systems on vehicles and equipment essential to mining operations. The primary focus is on ensuring the reliability and safety of electrical systems on trucks, LDVs, and other mining machinery.If you are a dedicated professional with experience in the mining sector and are ready to contribute to a dynamic team, this might be the perfect opportunity for you.
- Education: Grade 12 (Matric)
- Certification: Red Seal - Auto Electrician
- Experience: 3-5 years in a mining environment, with specific experience in auto electrical systems
- Language: Fully bilingual (English or Afrikaans) with strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Physical Fitness: Must be fit to obtain a medical certificate of fitness and declared fit to work on a mine.
- Skills: Competent in auto electrical systems, including diagnostics, repair, and maintenance, ensuring safe and effective operations in a mining environment.
- Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Saturday, with an off-structure of five days at month-end.
- Location: Candidates must reside in the Mokopane / Mapela / host community area.
- Additional Qualities: Honest, reliable, with excellent timekeeping and attendance.
- Preferred Experience: Prior experience working on a mine site.
