About Us: Our client is a well-established logistics company based in Durban North. They specialise in providing efficient transportation and distribution services to their clients, ensuring their satisfaction and trust in their services.: Our client in the logistics industry is currently seeking experienced Auto Electrician to join their workshop team. The successful candidates will be providing diagnostic and fault-finding expertise for all auto-electrical work on both trucks and trailers. This role requires both an auto electrician qualification and 5 yearsxe2x80x99 relevant experience.Responsibilities:
Diagnostic and Repair:

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues in Trucks/Trailers.
• Repairing or replacing faulty electrical components.
• When there is insufficient auto electrical work assist in mechanical repairs as when requested by the Workshop supervisor.

Installation and Maintenance:

• Installing electrical systems, components, and accessories in Trucks/Trailers.
• Performing regular maintenance to ensure the proper functioning of electrical systems.

Safety and Compliance:

• All processes in your area of responsibility are following ISO standards
• Adhering to safety protocols and ensuring that electrical work meets quality standards.
• Ensure the safety process is followed.
• Ensure the Safety Act and Regulation is adhered to.
• Housekeeping xe2x80x93 workshop area organised and tidy.

Documentation:

• Follow Instructions from Management and supervisors concerning work allocated.
• Keeping accurate records of electrical work performed, including parts used and repairs made. i.e. Job cards.

Requirements:

• Matric/N3.
• Auto Electrician Qualification
• Minimum of 5 experience in the same or similar position in maintenance and repairs of commercial vehicles.
• Must be willing to work standby and overtime.
• Valid driverxe2x80x99s license
• Knowledge/skills to effect correct repair work.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer literate.
