Job Description

Electrical or Mechatronic Design Engineer required for a position in Somerset West.
Must have BEng or BTech with minimum 0-2 years of working experience in design and contractor management of biogas plants.POSITION INFO:
Electrical or Mechatronic Design EngineerSomerset WestMinimum requirements and qualifications:

• BEng or BTech degree in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering
• Minimum 0-2 years of proven working experience.
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be willing to travel overseas.
• Must have a good understanding of Industrial Automation (MCC, VSD's, PLCs, Switchgear and Integrated Solutions).

Responsibilities:

• Drafting Key Single Line and electrical diagrams
• Drafting Tender Specification Documents for electrical cabling and power distribution.
• Managing subcontractors during site installations.
• Managing the design of power distribution and electrical infrastructure.
• Review of panel designs and electrical drawings (supplied by contractors).
• Understanding of ATEX zones
