Job Description
Our client requires the services of a Software Engineer (Senior) Midrand/Menlyn/Rosslyn/Home Office Rotation

- IT Degree / Diploma / Equivalent experience
- At least 6 years experience in test automation and manual testing
- Strong test automation skills
- Java Spring Boot and J2EE
- Angular (Typescript and Javascript)
- Cloud Infrastructure (AWS)
- Karma, Postman, Rest-assured, SOAP UI
- CI/CD pipelines
- Mavan, docker
- Jira, confluence
- Rest and SOAP web services
- Create, develop, expand and deploy test automation frameworks and scripts on Java applications
- Manuel testing
- Compile test cases around business requirements.
- Take ownership for the quality of the team and ensure that quality increases with time
- Contribute to the refinement and sizing of user stories.
- Create a deep understanding of Business requirements.
- Create test data reflecting various scenarios.
- Develop systems solutions in line with quality and delivery requirements.
- Identify risks / impediments and proactively resolve and / or escalate to the relevant parties.
- Comply with Code Compliance & Unit Testing standards and practices.
- Prepare system/technical documentation.
- Provide support for existing solutions.
- Pro-active knowledge sharing, mentoring, and coaching of members from the same or other teams.
- Other responsibilities as per AWM Charter or as decided by department manager.
- Important: A clear criminal record is required.
