Required Skills

• Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Automation/Instrumentation Engineering and or equivalen;
• At least 5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in Plant maintenance in the engineering field and maintenance on scales;
• Sound knowledge of control instrumentation, PLC's & SCADA systems;
• Sound understanding of AC/DC electrical theory, and practical application thereof;
• Experience in Robotics programming.
• The ability to review facts and weigh options using a systematic approach to solve

problems.

• Responsible for all aspects of food safety and quality as defined in plant and department procedures;
• At least 5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in the FMCG Industry Good technical skills on product and

process; and

• Strong communication skills.

Duties & ResponsibilitiesPlant support in troubleshooting/repairs and systems improvements (optimization);

• Responsible for the day to day maintenance on all control systems & instrumentation.
• Perform set-up, adjustment, timing, troubleshooting, replacement and programming of

electrical equipment;

• Dismantle, inspect and rebuild electrical assemblies to insure conformance to specifications

or production requirements;

• Complete repairs, modifications and installations as required (replacement of defective circuit

boards, sensors, controllers, vision systems, encoders, and servomotors);

• Evaluate efficiency and reliability of industrial robotic systems, reprogramming or calibrating

to achieve maximum quantity and quality;

• Program/Modify, PLC programs, AC/DC and Servo Drives, Robot Programs as well as HMI

screens;

• Design and construction of new electric circuits and electronic device integration;
• All instrumentation calibrations according to ISO and HACCP standards;
• Keep all logbooks updated and keep records on all instrumentation;
• Maintenance on and services of weight scales used in the plant;
• PLC and SCADA program and fault finding;
• Schedules of the Plant Equipment and updated according to the Pragma scheduling system;
• Uphold safety procedures as specified Maintain section targets and improve targets of Plant;
• KPA Pro-active and have attention to detail Control of spares Project work involvement
• Initiate and drive continuous improvement Automation projects within the Production process
