Job Title: Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure the highest levels of performance, quality, and customer satisfaction, all in strict adherence to our franchised standards. You will work in a fast-paced environment, employing your technical expertise and following corporate guidelines to maintain consistency and excellence across all service operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Vehicle Diagnostics: Conduct thorough inspections to diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and technical knowledge. Repair & Maintenance: Perform repairs and routine maintenance on a variety of vehicles, ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards. Parts Management: Identify and source necessary parts, ensuring timely ordering and efficient use of resources. Documentation: Accurately record work performed, including diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance tasks, in service reports. Customer Interaction: Communicate with customers regarding service requirements, repair timelines, and any additional recommendations. Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all workplace safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work environment in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:

Certification from a recognized technical institution or equivalent work experience of 3 years in automotive repair. Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably within a motor dealership or a similar environment. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members. Familiarity with modern diagnostic equipment and repair techniques.
Working Conditions:

Full-time position with standard working hours, and occasional overtime as needed.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R15000,00 - R25000,00 per month
