SUMMARY:
JHB075 - Automotive Sales and Business Development Executive xe2x80x93 Debt Recovery - Gauteng, Johannesburg#DriveYourCareerForward by working for a business dedicated to driving positive change in the automotive industry.The Business Development Executive (BDE) is responsible for generating new business opportunities by establishing and maintaining relationships with Dealerships, Panelshops, Workshops and corporate clients. The ideal candidate will proactively identify potential business prospects, pitch services and convert leads into long-term partnerships. They should possess strong networking and negotiation abilities and an in depth understanding of the automotive industry and debt recovery laws and regulations.Remuneration:
R 11 000 xe2x80x93 R 15 000 per month depending on experience & qualifications, plus performance-based Incentive xe2x80x93 Benefits include fuel and business laptop.POSITION INFO:
Duties include but not limited to:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify, contact, and develop relationships with key decision-makers in Dealerships, Workshops, Panel Shops and corporate businesses.
  • Client Relationship Management: Foster and maintain strong professional relationships with existing clients to secure repeat business and referrals.
  • Business Proposals: Create compelling business proposals, presentations, and pitches to attract new clients and partnerships.
  • Market Research: Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement strategic plans to meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Contract Negotiation: Handle negotiations with clients to secure business deals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Networking: Attend industry events, meetings, and networking functions to represent the business and build a strong network.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales activities, new leads, client feedback, and market trends for senior management review.
  • After-Sales Support: Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., operations, customer service) to ensure smooth service delivery and client satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Experience: 3+ years of business development, sales, or key account management experience, preferably in the automotive or insurance sectors.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive repairs, insurance claims processes, and related industries. Knowledge of Automotive terms and repair and debt processes.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to senior-level executives.
  • Negotiation Skills: Proven track record in negotiating contracts and closing deals.
  • Sales Skills: Ability to meet and exceed sales targets through strategic planning and relationship management.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Proactive, with a strong ability to identify and solve problems quickly.
  • Networking Abilities: Established connections within insurance companies and financial institutions is a plus.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales-related tools.
  • Self-Motivated and goal-driven
  • Ability to build rapport quickly
  • Able to handle a dynamic and changing business environment
  • Resilient with a positive can-do attitude
  • PC Literate with MS office Suite experience
