Job Summary
:
Use Siemens NX and Teamcenter to develop and maintain Service Documentation for Truck Chassis Systems, such as cab, chassis, and powertrain components
Assign VMRS codes to OEM truck parts in Teamcenter and publish Service Documentation to the customer database
Communicate with customer representatives to understand technical requirements and project needs.
Plan daily tasks, track progress, and generate reports
Collaborate with Design Engineering to interpret Truck design intent
Perform 3D CAD design of sheet metal components, formed piping, hose routing, etc.
Create detailed 2D manufacturing drawings with tolerance assignments, welding symbols, and GD&T
Assemble complex CAD systems and produce layout and assembly drawings
Manage bills of materials and operate Siemens NX and Teamcenter efficiently
Familiarize with and apply customer Engineering Standards and Processes
Review Engineering CAD Models and Drawings for adherence to standards and provide constructive feedback to engineers
Conduct technical verification activities on CAD files to ensure compliance with design standards
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for CAD processes and standards
Train new employees on Engineering standards
Maintain a repository of CAD and customer standard-related knowledge and experiences
Assist in planning, tracking, and reporting drafting service activities
Support administrative processes for international team members
Contribute to general administrative tasks and timely OKR metricsSkills & Experience:
Meticulous attention to detail
Strong proficiency in task management
Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to shifting priorities
Passion for automotive engineering and CAD design
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (English)
Proficient in computer applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Enthusiasm for efficient and effective administration
Recognized technical qualification in the industry (minimum 2 years)
Two to five years of full-time experience in 3D and 2D CAD, using mid-to-high-end software such as SolidWorks, Solid Edge, Siemens, Creo, or Inventor
Previous involvement in automotive component design and integration, with advantageous familiarity in Siemens NX
Demonstrated experience in manufacturing processes like welding, sheet metal, pipe bending, and harness manufacturingQualification:
