At iOCO, we're driven by innovation and passionate about delivering top-tier technology solutions. We're looking for an experienced AWS DBA to join our team and play a key role in optimizing and managing cloud-based database environments.



As an AWS DBA, you will be responsible for the administration, performance tuning, and security of cloud-based databases, ensuring high availability and reliability. Your role will also involve leveraging SQL Server expertise and incorporating DevOps practices to automate and optimize database operations.

Skills and Experience

What you'll do:

Administer, maintain, and optimize AWS-hosted databases Ensure SQL Server databases are secure, reliable, and high-performing Implement DevOps best practices to enhance automation, CI/CD, and database deployment efficiency Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to design scalable solutions Ensure data integrity, backups, and disaster recovery strategies are in place Stay up to date with AWS database services and emerging cloud technologies

Your expertise:

Proven experience as a DBA, with a strong focus on AWS cloud environments Hands-on expertise with SQL Server administration, performance tuning, and optimization Familiarity with DevOps tools and methodologies (CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, automation) Knowledge of AWS RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, or similar cloud database technologies Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Experience in database security, backup strategies, and disaster recovery planning
