Job Summary ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter Strong development background with particular focus on dotnet, angular and python Azure Platform Expertise Deep understanding of the Azure cloud services, including Virtual Machines, AKS, Storage, Networking, and other core Azure offerings Ability to architect and deploy complex Azure-based infrastructure and applications DevOps Toolchain Management Proficient in using and configuring GitHub, Terraform, and other DevOps tools Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Expertise in using Terraform to provision and manage cloud infrastructure Containerization and Orchestration Expertise in containerization technologies, such as Docker, and container orchestration platforms, such as Kubernetes Familiarity with Microservices Architecture, Cloud Architecture and Container Architecture ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: Automation and Scripting Develop scripts and automation tools using PowerShell, Bash, and Python to streamline DevOps tasks. Automate various aspects of the DevOps lifecycle, including provisioning, testing, and deployment Monitoring and Observability Implement monitoring and observability solutions Analyze performance metrics and logs to identify and resolve issues in the DevOps pipeline and cloud infrastructure Security and Compliance Ensure the security and compliance of the DevOps pipeline and cloud infrastructure. Implement access controls, manage secrets and credentials, and enforce security best practices. Collaboration and Communication Effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and business stakeholders Other Experience of working with SQL or NoSQL databases Methodologies AGILE or SCRUM. Understanding of Cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging computing trends Authentication concepts & patterns, such as Active Directory Domain Services (Kerberos, LDAP, etc.) and as well as Federation, OAuth, and other web-based authentication. WHICH QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE DO WE NEED FOR THE ROLE? At least 6-10 years worth of experience using Azure,DevOps practises, software development and a related qualification Agile working experience advantageous WHAT WILL BE YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES? Participate in code reviews Define and enforce code quality Take actively part in all regular Scrum ceremonies Contribute to refinement of user stories (user stories at the beginning of a development sprint might not be fully specified) Liaise with stakeholders and team members Pro-active knowledge sharing, mentoring, and coaching of members from the same or other teams Clarify open points possibly making proposals and/or developing a prototype for further discussion. Provide support for existing solutions Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of the CI/CD pipelines Implement infrastructure provisioning and configuration in a declarative and version-controlled manner. Integrate containerized applications into the DevOps pipeline and manage container-based deployments.
