Our client in Stellenbosch is need of an experienced Baker and Cafe Manager to join their team.Responsibilities:Baking: Prepare a variety of high-quality baked goods, including artisanal breads, pastries, and associated menu items.Menu Development: Create and refine a menu that complements our wine, cheese and beer selection and enhances the overall guest experience.Management: Oversee daily operations of the eatery, including staff management, inventory control, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.Requirements:Proven experience as a Baker, Pastry Chef, or similar role.Strong knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients.Experience of artisanal style breads specifically fermented doughs such as sourdough, ciabatta, Neapolitan style pizza, etc.Experience in managing a small team and running a kitchen or eatery.Creativity and passion for culinary arts.Excellent organizational and leadership skills.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.Please send cv, qualifications, references, salary expectation and photo to:
