Job Description


This role involves the production and processing of baked goods, primarily bread. The ideal candidate is a skilled and positive professional with experience in the baking industry. You must be a dedicated, detail-oriented, and people-focused baker.Candidate Requirements:

  • National Senior Certificate (matric/Grade 12) required
  • Minimum of five years relevant baking experience
  • Proficiency in using professional kitchen equipment, including mixers, blenders, and dough sheeters
  • HACCP knowledge is an advantage
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Excellent time-management and planning skills
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving skills
  • Physical stamina to lift heavy items for extended periods
  • Ability to read and follow recipes accurately
  • Willingness to work shifts
  • Assist the bakery supervisor with assigned tasks
  • Plan production schedules and manage workload effectively
  • Weigh and mix ingredients, ferment dough, and bake goods
  • Conduct quality inspections and evaluations after baking
  • Perform daily stock-taking and communicate necessary information
