The position is based in Rondebosch, Cape Town.JOB DESCRIPTION:MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the daily operations of the bakery, including food preparation, customer service, and inventory management
• Train and supervise bakery staff

Food preparation

• Ensure food is prepared and presented according to established recipes and standards
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards

Inventory management

• Maintain accurate inventory records
• Order supplies as needed
• Ensure the bakery section is properly stocked at all times
• Predict demand and ensure minimal waste

Customer service

• Engage with customers at the service counter to provide excellent service
• Address of customer concerns
• Answer any questions

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Retail related qualifications will be beneficial

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• 3 xe2x80x93 5 Yearsxe2x80x99 experience in a similar position
• Retail experience (Bakery experience will be an added advantage)
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent customer service abilities
• Ability to manage time effectively
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Good staff control and discipline
• Innovative with new ideas
• Health and safety and hygiene excellence
