Job Description

Skills and Experience:



Coffee Knowledge:

Expertise in different coffee types (espresso, cappuccino, latte, etc.) and brewing methods (manual and automatic machines).

Latte Art:

Ability to create basic to advanced latte art.

Menu Knowledge:

Familiarity with the hotel's beverage menu, including specialty drinks, seasonal offerings, and non-coffee options (teas, hot chocolates, smoothies).

POS Systems:

Comfortable using point-of-sale systems for taking orders and processing payments.

Customer Service:



Guest Interaction:

Warm, friendly, and professional communication skills.

Problem-Solving:

Ability to handle guest complaints efficiently and with grace.

Personal Presentation:

Well-groomed, adhering to the hotel's dress code.

Speed and Efficiency:

Capable of handling high-volume periods without compromising quality.

Stock Management:

Monitor coffee supplies, milk, syrups, and other bar essentials.

Cleaning and Hygiene:

Maintain cleanliness of coffee stations, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Barista Certification:

Advantageous but not always essential -- experience can sometimes outweigh formal training.

Health and Safety:

Knowledge of food safety regulations.

Previous Experience:

At least 2 - 3 years of experience in a hotel, restaurant, or cafe setting.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R5000,00 - R6000,00 per month
