Position: Release PharmacistLocation: JohannesburgContract Type: Fixed TermExperience: 2-3 yearsLocation: North JHBREF: MVG/BRPA pharmaceutical manufacturer (North Johannesburg) is seeking an experienced Release Pharmacist to join their team.Requirements:
- Registered Pharmacist with the SAPC
- 2-3 years' experience in batch release within pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of ISO, QMS, and GMP regulations
- Approve and release production batches, ensuring compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements.
- Review batch documentation, including manufacturing, packaging, and laboratory records.
- Ensure all manufacturing and testing processes are validated.
- Oversee planned changes, deviations, and additional sampling/testing where necessary.
- Conduct audits and monitor compliance with regulatory and in-house standards.
- Assist in evaluating rejected goods, materials, and components.
- Support internal audits and process evaluations, reporting deficiencies and corrective actions.
- Provide input on training needs and participate in factory training initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as required within the department.
