Job Description
Job functions duties and responsibilities.Main tasks:
- Daily capturing of Cashbook, Customer transactions and supplier transactions.
- Ensure accurate and timeous billing to Customers.
- Manage incoming payment requests.
- Prepare payment packs and load payments on bank.
- Preparation of supplier reconciliations.
- Assist with year-end audit preparation and queries as required.
- Ensure all excess funds are transferred to the call account by COB.
- Update management with daily bank balances
- Liaise and resolve supplier queries.
- Assist with SARS queries as requested by the accountants.
- Bank Card Transactions collect slips for month end capturing.
- Manual and electronic filing of bank statements, supplier invoices and supplier statements.
- Assist with customer collections and attend to attend to customer queries.
- Ad- hoc finance related queries.
- South African Unemployed youth not over the age of 35.
- Currently unemployed.
- Self-Starter.
- Basic accounting knowledge.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Fit in with the Company culture.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Must be computer literate specifically MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Well-spoken.
- Good email etiquette.
- Good with general admin.
