Job Description

We seek an experienced Data Engineer / BI Developer proficient in Microsoft SQL and the Microsoft BI technology stack. This is an opportunity for an Intermediate xe2x80x93 Senior developer, who will be responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining BI solutions.POSITION INFO:
Desired Experience & Qualification:

• You have completed a relevant 3-4 year diploma or degree (Honours or postgraduate degree preferred), or relevant work experience.
• You have 5-8 years of hands-on

/ BI development experience * You are proficient in Microsoft SQL and the Microsoft BI technology stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Power BI).

• You have experience with data warehouse design and data modeling.
• You have a strong understanding of ETL processes and best practices.
• You can develop, optimize, and troubleshoot ETL jobs.
• You are familiar with Agile methodologies and practices.

Advantageous:

• You have experience with Relational Databases, Microsoft SQL & Microsoft SSIS
• You have an in-depth understanding of database management systems, OLAP and ETL frameworks
• You can develop and test extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) processes
• You are familiar with Exception and Error handling contingencies and data hospitalisation procedures
• You have experience with Data mining
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

Main Responsibilities will include:

• Work independently and as part of a team in an Agile environment using the Microsoft stack of technologies.
• Delivery of enhancements and features as requested by the Product Owner.
• Develop and execute database queries and conduct analysis.
• Report curation and data modeling.
• Participation in data warehouse design.
• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes.
• Ensure data quality and integrity across the data warehouse and BI solutions.
• Optimize and tune ETL processes for efficiency and performance.
• Monitor and troubleshoot ETL jobs to ensure timely data load and accuracy.
