At Blaauwklippen, we don't just pour wine but we pour passion into everything we do. And now, we're looking for someone with serious "make-things-happen" energy to run the show at our Bike Park, Family Market, and Onsite Restaurant.
If you've got the people skills of a party host, the hustle of a market vendor, and the instincts of a trail guide, keep reading...
The Gig
You'll be the driving force behind three of our most-loved attractions. From managing mountain bike trails to ensuring food is hot and vendors are happy, you'll be everywhere, and that's exactly how you like it.
Your job: make sure every guest, whether on two wheels or two legs, has a lekker time.
Your Toolkit
Bike Park:
Keep trails safe, fun, and ride-ready
Host community rides, events & rentals
Speak fluent bike (or at least fake it convincingly)
Family Market:
Manage vendors like a backstage boss
Bring in music, entertainment, good vibes
Invent family-friendly magic on weekends
Restaurant (within the bike park):
Keep the 'food fresh, the coffee hot, and the guests smiling
Support the kitchen, stock, and service teams
Turn "hangry" into happy
Plus:
Be a born leader, team motivator & spreadsheet whisperer
Juggle rosters, suppliers, budgets & events -- all while sipping a flat white
Work closely with the estate's other teams (marketing, events, maintenance, etc.)
Champion sustainability, service excellence & the Blaauwklippen way
What You'll Need
3-5 years of experience in hospitality, events, or venue management
A multitasking brain and leadership swagger
Bonus points for food & beverage experience
Weekend & holiday availability (we don't do "Monday to Friday vibes")
Love for the outdoors, bikes, food, wine, and people
A valid driver's license and the ability to handle a bit of mud
What You'll Get
A creative role on one of SA's most historic wine estates
A chance to build something epic from the ground up
A supportive team and a job that doesn't involve sitting still
Salary that respects your hustle
Perks like staff discounts, wine (obviously), and serious street cred
