Job SummaryEducational Background/Work experience

  • Relevant certification within finance / accounting will be advantageous, not compulsory.
  • Having a background in logistics would be advantageous.
  • Experience in international trade is essential.
  • Experience in shipchandling would also be beneficial.
Job responsibilities
  • Enter quotes in client systems & internal ERP.
  • Review supplier proposals for compliance with client requirements.
  • Verify the currency to be used and apply selected tariffs.
  • Transmit quotes to the account manager and upload to relevant systems.
  • Communicate closely with the Commercial Manager on anomalies and applications.
  • Validate client orders upon receipt.
  • Process orders to invoicing for both suppliers and clients in ERP.
Skills & Competencies
  • Knowledge of international trade techniques
  • Fluent in English, French and/or Portuguese will be an advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, and ERP systems
  • Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
  • Capable of multitasking and performing well under pressure
  • Organized, responsive, thorough, and adaptable
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to take initiative
  • Interested in professional growth within an international group of companies
