Job Description
Job Summary Applicants are required to meet the following criteria: Grade 12 with a nursing qualification preferred Previous experience in a billing dept essential Private healthcare industrial knowledge and understanding of medical scheme rules and regulations ICD10 coding experience Knowledge of hospital information system General computer literacy The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to: ICD 10 codes, CPT codes and all medical aid tariffs and billing rules Closure / release of discharged patient accounts Receiving discharged files and ensure what is billed is in agreement with contractual agreements Final audit of all patient accounts prior to release Monitor release system Check that equipment and procedure type are billed Salary: Market relatedSheldon Recruitment and SelectionRecruiter
