Key Performance Areas:





The BIM Coordinator will be responsible for:


Report directly to the National BIM Manager and the Technology, Research and Development Executive, and collaborate for the optimal delivery of the Key Performance Areas Overseeing the successful implementation of Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes across various projects, through the project lifecycle. Implement and enforce SVAi BIM modelling standards, protocols and guidelines. Implement new BIM and supporting technologies for BIM projects. Provide training and support to project teams, ensuring data and model integrity, and collaborating with various BIM stakeholders to optimize BIM workflows. Amend, communicate and implement BIM execution plans for projects. Align BIM goals and objectives with overall project and organizational objectives. Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams and facilitate communication and coordination using BIM tools. Provide BIM training to project team members. Oversee the development and maintenance of BIM models Co-ordinate and/or support information exchange among project stakeholders in alignment with agreed protocols while ensuring data integrity. Collaborate and support the development of workflows, protocols, and the testing of software and BIM tools. Collaborate with the IT department on the installation of hardware and software Monitor and report on BIM process performance, and implement changes to enhance efficiency. Engage with project stakeholders to understand BIM requirements Provide updates to SVA Project Leaders on BIM progress and address stakeholders concerns. Identify and mitigate potential risks in the implemented project BIM processes. Facilitate Design Collaboration and Model Co-ordination. Facilitate BIM Co-ordination meetings Implement BIM co-ordination strategy according to the Master Project Program Manage the organization's Revit content library Assist in the development of protocols for obtaining and developing Revit families for the organization

Qualifications:




Bachelor's or Bachelor of Technology degree in Architecture or higher qualification in architecture.

Experience:




Minimum 3 years in the role of BIM Coordinator for Architectural stages 1 to 5. Minimum 5 years' experience working for an architectural company/firm Minimum 1 year as direct support to a Project Manager or Project Leader.

Core Competencies:




Proven experience as a BIM Coordinator in construction or design of projects. Strong understanding of BIM standards and protocols. Familiarity with local and international BIM regulations. Proficiency in BIM related software (Required) + Autodesk Revit + Autodesk AutoCAD
