The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the design and implementation of wastewater projects using Building Information Modelling (BIM) software and methodologies.Core role requirementsCollaborate with the engineering team to develop BIM models and documentation for wastewater projects.Create and manage 3D models, clash detection, and coordination of design elements.Utilize BIM software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD) to generate accurate and detailed construction drawings.Assist in the development of BIM standards, protocols, and workflows for the wastewater department.Coordinate with other disciplines within the project team to ensure efficient and accurate information exchange.Perform clash detection and resolution to minimize design conflicts.Support project managers in delivering projects within specified timelines and budgets.Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies and methodologies and share knowledge with the team.Collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project coordination.Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor's degree or diploma in civil engineering, architecture, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a BIM Technician, preferably on the wastewater projects.Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and BIM 360.Solid understanding of wastewater engineering principles, terminology, and construction practices.Strong knowledge of BIM standards, protocols, and best practices.Excellent attention to detail and ability to generate accurate and precise drawings.Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.Experience with clash detection, coordination, and clash resolution processes.Familiarity with Irish regulations and standards related to wastewater projects is desirable.Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.About UsOur mission is to deliver sustainable solutions that transform communities and bring about lasting positive change.
