They are our greatest asset.Join us and letxe2x80x99s grow together.We are currently accepting applications for the following position located in the Witbank, Mpumalanga area.The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organising, leading and controlling all blasting activities in the Opencast Operations.Key Responsibilities:Adhering to minexe2x80x99s procedures in execution of all blasting activities.Maintaining Health, Safety, Environmental and Production requirements.Being cost effective and meeting deadlines. Minimum QualificationsGrade 12.Opencast blasting certificate.Magazine Master Certificate (SA Police Service xe2x80x93 Explosives) will be advantageous.Driversxe2x80x99 License (Code EB/08)Minimum Experience:Minimum 7 yearsxe2x80x99 opencast mining experience of which 1 year should be at a Blast Controller / Magazine Master level.Behaviour Competencies:Ability to carefully and objectively analyses and evaluate information to inform decisions and key actions.Ability topractical skills and common sense to solve problems and deliver accountabilities.Ability to stay calm and focused on the task at hand under pressure.
