The qualified and suitable candidates applying for this position should meet the below minimum requirements.Requirements:xc2xb7 Grade 12xc2xb7 Valid Blasting Assistant Certificatexc2xb7 Knowledge of Opencast Miningxc2xb7 Code 8 or 10 driverxe2x80x99s licensexc2xb7 3 yearsxe2x80x99 experience of opencast blasting.xc2xb7 Ability to charge and close blast holes.Responsibilities:xc2xb7 Identify and control hazards.xc2xb7 Closing of blast holes.xc2xb7 Closing off areas before blast.xc2xb7 Preparation of primers.xc2xb7 Controlling explosives received.xc2xb7 Timing of blasting rounds.Assist with tying up blast blockJob Type: Full-timeEducation:High School (matric) (Preferred)Experience:Opencast Blasting: 3 years (Preferred)License/Certification:Blasting Assistant Certificate (Required)Code 8 or 10 driverxe2x80x99s license (Preferred)
