Responsibilities:
Diagnose, repair, and service the fleet of ground support equipment and vehicles according to company and manufacturer specifications.
Conduct daily checks and inspections on all equipment and vehicles, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Perform mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance tasks.
Manage the maintenance schedule, ensuring timely servicing of all equipment and vehicles as per the specified intervals.
Develop work procedures using technical manuals and charts.
Coordinate with the Operations team to implement and maintain an effective preventative maintenance program.
Ensure all tasks are performed following safe working practices, prioritizing safety for all.
Perform continuous risk assessments on equipment operations, ensuring compliance with safe operating procedures.
Provide support for Ramp Operations as needed.
Be available to respond to urgent calls outside of regular working hours when necessary.
Advocate and reinforce a "safety first" culture throughout all levels of the organization.
Requirements:
Qualified Diesel Mechanic with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
Strong communication skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with various departments and management levels.
A valid driver’s license (code 10, C1, C, EC1, or EC).
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
