We are currently seeking skilled Electrical Specialists to join our boat building teams, contributing to the installation, maintenance, and optimisation of electrical systems on our world-class vessels.

Job Purpose:

As an Electrical Specialist on our boat building team, you will be responsible for the installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems onboard our catamarans. You will ensure that all electrical work meets the highest quality standards, supporting safe, efficient, and reliable vessel operations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Install and wire a variety of electrical components and systems on power and sailing catamarans, including navigation lights, switch panels, inverters, and distribution boards. Interpret and work from electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installations. Test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical faults to maintain optimal system performance. Collaborate with design, engineering, and production teams to resolve technical issues and improve installation methods. Adhere to safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices throughout the installation and maintenance processes. Keep accurate records of work completed, including updates to wiring diagrams and maintenance logs. Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and reliability of electrical installations.

Desired Experience & Qualification:

Relevant qualification or certification in Electrical Installation, Marine Electronics, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years' experience in electrical installations, preferably in the marine or boatbuilding environment. Proven ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings. Familiarity with marine-specific electrical components, regulations, and safety standards is advantageous. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and rectify electrical faults. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Attention to detail, a proactive approach, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
