Job Description
Our client is seeking a professional Bookings Clerk to join their team at a leading motor vehicle dealership based in Stellenbosch, Western Cape. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, managing appointment bookings, and ensuring smooth communication between customers, service, and parts departments.Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule appointments for vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs
- Interact with customers via phone, email, or in-person to understand service needs and provide information on service options and pricing
- Coordinate with the service department to ensure appointments are properly managed and parts are available
- Upsell additional services or products based on customer needs
- Confirm appointments and send reminders to reduce no-shows
- Maintain accurate customer and service records
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service and timely follow-ups
- Assist with administrative tasks and collaborate with the dealership team
- Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
- Fully bilingual (English and Afrikaans); a third South African language is an advantage
- Experience in the motor dealership industry, especially as a Bookings Clerk, is preferred
- Some mechanical knowledge is an advantage
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Problem-solving and results-driven mindset
