Job Description
We are seeking a self-driven and organised bookkeeper to handle day-to-day financial transactions and maintain accurate financial records. xc2xa0Core Responsibilities:xc2xa0 Consistently manage accounts, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with tax regulations. Bookkeeping duties include:
- Record sales, receipts, and payments.
- Monthly reconciling of bank statements.
- Payroll.
- Preparing comprehensive financial reports.
- Assisting management with interpreting data to make informed decisions.
- Tax compliance by calculating tax liabilities and timeously filing returns.
- Record Keeping.
- 10 Years experience as a bookkeeper with professional certifications, or B. Com Accounting degree with 5 years of experience.
- Proficient in MS Office and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage Pastel, SimplePay)
- Fluency in English, strong verbal and written skills.
- Detail-oriented, analytical and works accurately.
- Able to work within deadlines.
- Demonstrate initiative and strong organisational abilities. Ability to prioritise tasks, solve problems autonomously, and achieve objectives with minimal supervision.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
