:DescriptionWe are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our growing team in George, Western Cape. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and financial management, with a proven ability to manage financial records accurately and efficiently. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining our financial records, ensuring compliance with local legislation, and providing insights that support informed decision-making. Your expertise will be crucial to our organization's financial health, and you will play an integral role in maintaining the integrity of our financial processes. The position is full-time and requires a commitment to professionalism and confidentiality.Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and process monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with South African financial regulations and assist with audits as required.
• Manage payroll and ensure all employees are compensated accurately and on time.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support budgeting processes.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare forecasts to guide financial planning.
• Communicate with vendors and clients regarding accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Continuously improve financial processes and recommend efficiencies to enhance workflow.

• A relevant degree/diploma in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping or a similar financial role.
• Proficiency in SAIPA standards and best practices.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
