Job Description
- Graduate in Accounting and Finance
- Min. 3 years of work experience in similar position
- Experience of book keeping and with accounting systems in South Africa
- Excellent Knowledge of accounting terminology and making General entries
- Experience of Taxation and related entries in South Africa
- Excellent with Microsoft Excel functions such as V-lookup, pivot tables etc.
- Attention to detail & Analytical skills
Responsibilites:
- Manage accounts payables and receivables in a timely manner
- Validate and Reconcile invoices received, process payments of suppliers.
- Responsible to prepare month statement of accounts.
- Processing of all transactions up to trial balance, including invoicing when required
- Check all financial transactions for accuracy
- Working knowledge of VAT & related Tax accounting
- Ensure vendor files are up to date, KYC and other vendor documentation
- Petty Cash handling and reconciliation on daily basis
- Payroll processing of monthly wages and monthly salaries and monthly reconciliation.
- Monitoring employee contributions related to EPF. ____, Medical insurance and Govt. filings etc.
- Maintain records of Employee Loans / advances / Expenses and arrange any payments or reimbursements.
- Manage employee attendance, leave management and computation of overtime payouts.
- Maintain & track expenses as they relate to specific budgets or provision.
- Prepare Trial balance and periodical budget / financial reports and assist in audits
