Requirements

Experience within an auditing firm preferred, managing accounts for multiple clients e.g. processing VAT for 10 clients.
Full general ledger processing
Reporting to Trial Balance.
Must be fully proficient and/or experienced on Pastel Accounting & Payroll / Xero / Quickbooks.
Must be proficient on Microsoft Excel and Word.
Must have own transport and valid drivers license.
Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans.

Duties

Bank Processing
Full cashbook processing with bank reconciliations.
Being able to accurately match receipts to customer accounts and payments to supplier account.
Accurate processing to expenses, assets and liability accounts
Debtors, Creditors and Inventory
Processing, including invoices, credit notes, journal, and reconciliations to statements
Payroll:
Payroll processing and reconciliations for weekly and monthly payrolls.
Preparation, submission and reconciliations of EMP201 returns, EMP501xe2x80x99s and dealing with SARS queries.
Must be able to accurately calculate pay packages for input onto the payroll system.
Vat:
Vat processing and reconciliations for daily and monthly Vat returns
Must have worked in a high pressure environment with strict reporting deadlines.
Preference will be given to candidates who have managed accounts for multiple clients, e.g. processing vat for 10 clients for month end vat submissions
