Job Description
Hilton Area xe2x80x93 KwaZulu Natal: Our client is looking for a Bookkeeper to join the team.Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered.This is a LIVE OUT position.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Accounting/ Bookkeeping diploma/degree/certificates
- At least 5 years previous experience in bookkeeping
- Knowledge of data management and financial data analysis
- Computer Literate
- Good interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Valid drivers license
- Raise all Pastel customer invoices according to job cards or supporting documentation
- Email all customer invoices to respective recipients.
- Follow up overdue debtors.
- Reconciling of all debtors and checking against the age analysis.
- Raise interest from time to time on overdue debtors
- Preparing debtors reconciliations when necessary
- Attend to queries that arise.
- Filing of debtors invoices
- Capturing all bank statements, allocation of creditors and debtors payments correctly
- Monthly bank reconciliations
- Loading of payments for release on the banking platform
- Control and reconciliation of petty cash for the entities
- Overseeing the monthly wage payroll, as well as HR functions related to the payroll
- Annual preparation for external Audits and collating required information
- Ad-Hoc tasks assigned from time to time and any other reasonable tasks.
