Job Description
- Prepare branch performance report and recommendations for the MD
- Develop policies and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and fleet standards
- Ensure adherence to Health and Safety legislation, including, including documented toolbox talks
- Oversee day to day branch activities ensuring smooth operations and resource utilization
- Ensure fleet maintenance within service agreements and legal requirements
- Compile and submit management reports
- Coordinate transport and scheduling for efficient product flow
- Manage freight accounts and ensure accuracy before MD authorization
- Senior Certificate
- Diploma / Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Road Transport
- Code B Driver's license and own transport
- 5 years previous experience in a Managerial role
- Strong marketing / Sales background
- Experience in dealing with National Bargaining Council (Road Freight)
- South African citizen
