Job Description


A leading manufacturer of refrigerated bodies and trailers is seeking a dedicated and experienced Branch Manager to oversee their Service and Repairs Centre in Kempton Park. With a commitment to delivering excellence in service and maintaining strong customer relationships, this company is looking for a dynamic individual to lead their team and drive success.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Service and Repairs Centre, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Manage and lead a team of service technicians and support staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering quality service and resolving customer inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase service center productivity and profitability.
  • Monitor service center performance metrics, such as repair turnaround time, service quality, and customer satisfaction, and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain inventory levels of spare parts and equipment, and ensure accurate record-keeping of all transactions.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and production, to ensure seamless coordination of operations.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and suppliers to support business growth and expansion.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of service center operations, including repair processes, inventory management, and customer service principles.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license.
