We are seeking a proactive and results-driven
Branch Manager
to join our flexible office and storage company and oversee daily operations at our branch. As the face of our company, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of the branch while maintaining a high standard of service and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
Oversee daily branch operations, including staff, equipment, facilities, and client management. Ensure smooth running of all services and a clean, well-maintained work environment.
Customer Service Excellence:
Provide exceptional service to clients, troubleshoot and resolve complaints, and create a welcoming and professional environment for all visitors.
Sales & Marketing:
Drive sales by converting leads, upselling services, and ensuring that occupancy targets are met. Engage with local businesses and the community for marketing opportunities. Driving of physical marketing would be integral.
Financial & Administrative Oversight:
Manage branch finances, including debt collection, processing payments, and ensuring accurate billing. Keep detailed records, and prepare necessary reports for Head Office.
Staff Leadership:
Manage, motivate, and develop branch staff, ensuring they meet company standards. Handle scheduling, performance assessments, and compliance with company policies.
Maintenance & Security:
Ensure that the branch is secure, clean, and well-maintained. Perform regular checks on facilities and resolve any issues promptly.
Requirements:
Experience:
Experience in a branch management or similar leadership role within the service industry.
Education:
Matric certificate is required; relevant qualifications or experience in operations management is a plus.
Skills:
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in Google Suite. Bilingual abilities are essential.
Attributes:
Punctual, reliable, professional, adaptable, and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
Other:
Own reliable transport and the ability to manage time effectively. Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
