:A leading hardware and building materials dealer in the Western Cape is looking for a passionate and experienced Branch Manager to lead their Worcester branch. As Branch Manager, you will be the driving force behind an exceptional shopping experience. Youll lead and motivate your team, execute key sales and merchandising strategies, and ensure their customers receive top-notch service. Youll also maximise profitability by understanding market needs and maintaining a customer-first environment.Key Responsibilities:Customer ServiceOversee and guide various teams to deliver outstanding service.Resolve customer queries and complaints efficiently.
Ensure sales teams are knowledgeable and equipped to meet customer needs.
Maintain up-to-date, attractive visual displays in line with seasonal trends.
Ensure a safe, welcoming environment for all customers.SalesAnalyse sales reports to identify opportunities for improvement.Stay on top of market trends and implement strategies to boost sales.Develop and manage action plans to hit sales targets.Expenses & Stock ControlMonitor day-to-day expenses and prevent over-expenditure.Ensure stock levels align with sales performance.
Implement strong stock security measures to minimize losses.
Review purchase reports, stock take procedures, and slow-moving stock.General ManagementEnsure the store meets occupational health and safety standards.
Stay updated on local retail developments.
Implement and ensure compliance with company policies.
Be flexible and supportive in handling tasks outside of your usual responsibilities.RequirementsMatric (Mathematics and Accounting preferred).Relevant tertiary qualification (advantageous).At least 5 years in a senior retail management role, with proven leadership experience.Emotional intelligence and excellent customer focus.Results-driven with a goal-oriented approach.Strong planning and strategic thinking.Effective team management and communication skills.Solution-oriented and performance-driven.Fluent in English and Afrikaans.SA CitizenshipBenefitsPension fund
