Job Description


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Input into the brand strategy and annual operating plans.
  • Co-create budgets and plans and execute on time and in full as per annual plan.
  • Develop integrated marketing plans and communication assets to deliver consistent brand messaging across all channels as per brand(s) objectives.
  • Digital marketing management including campaign development & optimization, content marketing, social media marketing, influencer management & other digital advertising.
  • Strong market insight management: Identify market challenges, opportunities, and develop relevant insights, concepts & product innovations/improvements relevant for local market and build in-depth understanding of local consumers and shoppers. Develop briefs and commission research to agencies.
  • Competitor mapping and price indexing.
  • Be able to analyse data across various platforms ie market share, sales reports, in-depth P&L understanding, consumer insights, etc.
  • Monthly reporting to senior stakeholders on brand performance and future plans.
  • Responsible for keeping abreast of market and trade landscape.
  • Manage and lead the artwork development process with respective stakeholders.
  • Strong relationship management with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Input into claims development and marketing creative writing.
  • New Product Development: Oversee the end-to-end product development process, from ideation to launch/relaunch, ensuring products meet consumer needs, quality standards, and market trends. Includes managing cross-functional teams.
  • Co-create long term pipeline for profitable NPDs and successful execution.
  • Drafting of business cases for product commercial story.
  • General admin: PO creation, GRVs, finance liaison, influencer admin, marketing storeroom management, etc.
Desired Qualification & Experience
  • BCom/ Btech Marketing/ IMM Degree
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in brand management in an FMCG industry (preferably in personal care/ healthcare category).
  • Strong understanding of brand building principles and strategies, with a track record of successfully driving brand growth and market share expansion.
  • Marketing skills: ATL & BTL development, planning & budget management, research briefing & analysis, market analysis, consumer insight management, new product & packaging development (including managing a cross-functional team), business & financial management, digital media & understanding of trade and commercial principles.
  • Proven experience as a Brand Manager or in a similar role with a working understanding of all business functions and key FMCG processes.
  • Proven track record to work independently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent project management skills with a bias for action - ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within deadlines and a high attention to detail.
  • Drivers license with own reliable transport
