Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed designs for various bridge types, conducting structural analysis to ensure safety and compliance with standards.

- Oversee all phases of bridge projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess structural integrity and compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and review technical reports, design calculations, and specifications to ensure accuracy and clarity.
- Identify and implement innovative materials and construction techniques.
- Ensure all designs meet standards and regulations. Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering (BEng or BSc).

- Registered as a Candidate Engineer with ECSA; Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration is a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in bridge engineering, with a proven track record of successful projects.
- Proficiency in bridge design software such as LUSAS, MIDAS, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of bridge design principles, materials, and construction techniques.
- Excellent project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and present findings to stakeholders.
