We are hiring!Aon South Africa is hiring a Motor Broker in our Head Office in Sandton, based on a hybrid basis.The role of a Motor Broker is to work closely with the motor broking team, the client managers, team and branch leaders, and with insurers in the field of motor insurance. Possess the technical expertise, to facilitate, to negotiate, to manage and provide guidance in the placement of client motor and Sasria insurance covers and develop product add-ons or improvements to cater for needs of small to large fleets.Aon is in the business of better decisionsAt Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world.As an organization, we are united through trust as one inclusive, diverse team, and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.What the day will look likeWorking in partnership with client facing colleagues in understanding the coverage needs of clients and how motor insurance dovetail with other product lines.Advise on collection of relevant risk information and analyze risk information for risk transfer solutions.Responsible for identifying appropriate channels for risk placement based on security guidelines and other requirements.Responsible for issuing broking notes, policies and endorsements for existing renewals and new placements.Negotiates terms and conditions on placement with carriers.Provides technical advice to colleagues and clients (when required) on placement design, available coverage, pricing, potential coverage enhancements, market changes and make recommendations within scope of responsibility.Possess an awareness of larger Aon / department / team strategies.Builds strong relationships within the market and with relevant Aon network and other internal stakeholders (Corporate, Commercial, AGCN, Branches, SSA, Claims, Risk Consulting, New Business, etc.).Responsible for maintaining awareness of all available Aon SPS products and applying them appropriately.Maintains vital management information and completes required administrative tasks.Apply company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.Promote the Aon brand and the Aon Motor Facility.Regularly review the Aon Motor Fleet product to ensure it remains up to date and in line (or better) than market products.
