Job Description

Our client is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join their IT & Systems team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems analysis, process optimisation, and comprehensive documentation. This role requires working closely with stakeholders, technical teams, and management to ensure that system solutions meet business objectives.Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, define, and document detailed business requirements.
• Analyze current systems and processes to identify gaps and recommend enhancements or new solutions.
• Develop business cases for system upgrades or modifications, including cost-benefit analysis.
• Create and maintain system documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, data models, and use cases.
• Work closely with technical teams to ensure that system capabilities align with business requirements and user needs.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings with business users and technical teams to capture requirements and system functionality.
• Translate technical information into user-friendly documentation for non-technical stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in business analysis, specifically focusing on systems analysis and documentation.
• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, C#, and interpreting system coding to document processes.
• Experience working with technical teams to analyze system capabilities and recommend improvements.
• Previous experience in telecommunications is an advantage.
