Job Description
Main Purpose:The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, analysing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives in all areas of the operation.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible and accountable for implementation of CIP through related studies and other methodologies (5S, Lean, TOC, etc.). Lead a cross functional team to ensure implementation of projects.
- 8+ years industrial engineering experience including project management, in a contract logistics environment or similar;
- Proven track record of implementing Continuous Improvement Projects
- Must have general experience in the logistics industry
- Must have experience in Lean / CIP methodology
- Introduction to Change Management
- Own vehicle & valid license
- Power BI Beneficial
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing techniques
- Experience in the Automotive Industry (OEM or Tier 1 Supplier experience)
- Negotiation skills & relationship management xe2x80x93 client and / or supplier
- Knowledge of ERP/WMS/Systems Integration will be beneficial.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
