Job Description

PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Conduct Business Impact Analysis (BIA) using BCM toolkit.
- Develop Business Continuity Plans on the toolkit.
- Conduct BCM training and awareness.
- Develop proficiency in the BCM toolkit and provide toolkit training.
- Chair Business Continuity Management Forums with all Business unites.
- This role requires thought leadership and building relationships with teams,
- This role will develop, adapt, and provide models, governance, and methodologies to ensure consistent delivery in the businesses.
- Maintain current operational resilience and continuity industry knowledge (to a high level) and keep up to date on changes to current and new operational and BC regulations and standards.
- Conduct Business Continuity reviews/audits.
- Build/facilitate/coordinate scenario testing programs.
- Provide BCM guidance and support.
SKILLS
- Excellent written skills (Word and Excel), in particular planning and report writing skills.
- Excellent presentation skills (writing and delivering PowerPoint presentations).
- Excellent meeting facilitation skills.
- Dealings with C-level stakeholders
- Be able to establish a high level of credibility and manage strong stakeholder relationships.
- A high-level understanding of business continuity planning tools and software, notification tools and recovery strategies for technology and premises and the ability to use these effectively.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years in the Business Continuity Management.
- At least three years of experience as an Analyst in a large corporation
- Experience working on an Operational Resilience programme.
- Hands on experience of rehearsals / tests.
- Understanding of the principles of IT Service Continuity Management and the integration with Business Continuity.
- Relevant Business Degree or Diploma Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a large corporate (fulfilling Business Continuity Management and Analysis roles)
- Relevant certification (e.g. CBCI, MBCI)
- ISO22301 Standard.
