Our client is seeking a skilled Business Controller to contribute to their dynamic team and drive financial excellence within their growing company. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in accounting and a passion for sports and outdoor activities. As a key member of the finance team, you will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and effective financial planning.Duties:
- Oversee and manage the full accounting function, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Ensure adherence to accounting principles and company policies in all financial transactions.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Qualifications:
- BCom Accounting Degree.
- SAICA or SAIPA articles required.
- Experience:
- A minimum 3 years of working experience in a similar role.
- Interest within the sporting industry is a preference.
